How to Get a Guy to Propose to You – Make Him Want to Marry You Now

Many women in long term relationships want to know the same thing and that’s how to get a guy to propose to you. For some women, it seems that they happen to fall in love with a man who just doesn’t seem that interested in marriage. It’s frustrating if you find yourself in a relationship like this, especially when you believe your man is the one you’re destined to spend your life with and raise a family with. If you are becoming increasingly discouraged over the fact the he just doesn’t want to take the relationship to that all important next level, take heart. There are simple things you can do that will subtly persuade him to get down on one knee and pop the question.

Understanding how to get a guy to propose to you starts with acknowledging that pushing just isn’t going to work in this instance. As much as we know that nagging does work in certain circumstances, it doesn’t when it comes to getting a proposal. The more you push your man to commit to marriage, the more he’s going to resist it. For some men it becomes a challenge they just don’t want to lose so the more you push him, the more he’ll tell you he’s not ready or he’s unsure. The simplest way to remedy this is to just stop asking for it. Don’t hint about marriage anymore, throw all your bridal magazines in the trash and never talk about an engagement ring again. It won’t take him long to notice the change.

Men don’t find attainable women all that attractive. If you’ve made it clear to your man that you’re waiting for a proposal, he’s not giving you one. If you instead do an about face and start looking for more freedom and independence, this will ignite a fire beneath him. Men respond to a woman’s actions much more than they’ll ever respond to what we say to them. Therefore it only makes sense that if you pull back from him, he’ll react. Once you stop talking about marriage, the next step is easy. Start occupying yourself with things that don’t involve him. Don’t be available every night of the week anymore and keep some things to yourself. Develop a sense of mystery about you and you’ll grab more of his attention and affection than you ever have before. If you really want that proposal, create a little distance and stop talking about marriage.
